Mobile Money Benin
Mobile Money Benin is a digital payment service that allows money transactions over cellphone devices in Benin Republic.
The technology is installed in the SIM card of the device and can be used on regular and smartphone devices. Users can receive, withdraw, and send money without being connected to the formal banking system.
MoMo is MTN’s mobile money product. MTN MoMo controls about 70% of the market share and remains the dominant mobile money option in Benin.
Payment flow
- Step 1: Choose Mobile Money Benin.
- Step 2: Input the client details (account ID and/or amount, phone number, and name)

Step 3: The customer will receive a USSD push to validate the transaction.

Step 4: The customer approves the transaction with a PIN.
